I’m in the same boat. I receive dozens of the emails using the Bestjobmark.com domain. I received a few that used the usajobmark.com domain at one time, too. Changing our password or settings doesn’t help because he hasn’t hacked into our accounts; he just forges the headers.

The best solution I can come up with is to create a junk mail folder — separate from the spam folder — and filter mail with the bestjobmark.com, usajobmark.com and freeusajob.com domains to go into the junk mail folder, isolating it from other job notices and making it easy to delete en masse.

I’ve forwarded a lot of the emails (displaying the full header) to spam@uce.gov, the U.S. agency that investigates email abuse.

I’ve forwarded some to the originating IP’s, too, but he uses many different ones in several countries.

I also complained to my ISP and tried sending the emails back to Fernando with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line but I still receive them.

Same here. Anyone find a solution yet? I’ve had my yahoo account for years now, and am in the middle of a job search so don’t want to shut it down. Which is why they target job seekers, I’d imagine.

  3. anonymous says:

This company pirates individual’s emails and sends out various employment opportunities from the individual’s email that was compromised. Somehow this company sent an email “from me to me and two other people.” So despite using yahoo’s privacy settings (challenge questions and beta login), now I am forced to find out how to shut down my yahoo email account and change my email address. I’ve only noticed this company’s scam just recently when I saw my name in the “from” column in my spam folder. I’ve had AT LEAST 15-20 emails fraudulently sent out on my behalf.
