DEA Warning–Buying drugs online may be illegal and dangerous!

Federal law prohibits buying controlled substances such as narcotic pain relievers (e.g., OxyContin®, Vicodin®), sedatives (e.g., Valium®, Xanax®, Ambien®), stimulants (e.g., phentermine, phendimetrazine, Adderall®, Ritalin®) and anabolic steroids (e.g., Winstrol®, Equipoise®) without a valid prescription from your doctor.

This means there must be a real doctor-patient relationship, which by most state laws requires a physical examination. Prescriptions written by “cyber doctors” relying on online questionnaires are not legitimate under the law.

Scammers reinvent themselves. Today, these hard core career criminals have become affiliate marketers or just plain outright scammers

These affiliate scammers are posting bogus ads promising (nonexistent!) employment, paid research trials, or other compensation, but then notifying repliers that they’ll need to jump through a hoop first, directing job seekers to a host of deplorable tactics as listed below:

all in hopes of earning affiliate marketing commissions or otherwise profiting at the expense of persons seeking employment.

There are lots of variations on these scams, but each generally involves dangling (nonexistent!) compensation, easy lazy employment opportunity, sit at home and do nothing i.e. work at home and then directing you to a website where you are asked to sign up for something, use your credit card, or input personal information such as your email address, open a bank account, become a secret shopper, or an award winnings which targets the elderly, worse of all a program that promises you riches……

One need to exercise good judgment when they encounter one of these bogus job opportunity. These scammers are pros…. professionals with army of Attorneys and accomplices i.e. helpers. They do not operate alone. Getting involve or associated with these criminals is getting yourself into a whole lots of headaches. They prey on your weakness of being unemployed and desperate. They are out there in search of vulnerable individuals.

all in hopes of earning affiliate marketing commissions or otherwise profiting at the expense of persons seeking employment.

There are lots of variations on these scams, but each generally involves dangling (nonexistent!) compensation, easy lazy employment opportunity, sit at home and do nothing i.e. work at home and then directing you to a website where you are asked to sign up for something, use your credit card, or input personal information such as your email address, open a bank account, become a secret shopper, or an award winnings which targets the elderly, worse of all a program that promises you riches……

One need to exercise good judgment when they encounter one of these bogus job opportunity. These scammers are pros…. professionals with army of Attorneys and accomplices i.e. helpers. They do not operate alone. Getting involve or associated with these criminals is getting yourself into a whole lots of headaches. They prey on your weakness of being unemployed and desperate. They are out there in search of vulnerable individuals.

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking for employment and have posted my resume on line so it was not unusual for me to receive employment opportunities to review. The above company contacted me I have all emails as well as had phone conversations with the above Linda Martin. I did research online did not see anything that looked like a scam . They sent me training manuals, a w4 which I filled in and resent to them. I was notified they had a project for me said that they have developers overseas who I would act as a liason between the client and said developers.

I was notified that as part of my responsibilities the company would remit to me through direct deposit to my Bank funds for me to allocate to these developers. I thought this strange however when told this was the way they handled all their business and that direct deposits would be made and no transfers until all monies were settled and confirmed by the bank as totally available it was legitimate since the monies were not mine ,they were the companies. The direct deposit was made on 5/11/12 and I was asked to send to 2 developers via Western union and moneygram overseas I have these individuals info as well.

Today 5/14 I checked my account and there was the overdraft reversing the direct deposit. I contacted the bank stating I am a victim of fraud and to see if they could freeze that reversal while I contacted the FBI they stated all they could do is provide me with the Bank reversing the direct deposit Banccorp . I contacted Banccorp who confirmed this was a fraudulent transaction. I stated why was this not recognized as illegal before transferrin the money and there was no explanation given. The BBB has contacted me and stated that this was a company that was at one time legit , however the individual who once owned it has not done any buiness for some time and some criminals have basically hijacked it. I believe the BBB will have local Law enforcement begin an active investigation shortly I certainly hope so.

I received an email from Bill Bricks offering me a job based on my resume. He stated “they” were a small respected IT outsourcing company, my training would be paid and after 30 days, it would be decided if I made the cut. I have already had my run in with a scam company so the red flags went up on this!

I responded back stating I wanted more info on the company like their name. And I asked him where he found my resume. Well, he never stated where he found my resume, but he had a lot of info to send me on the company. In his email he also stated some requirements, one of them being I had to have either a bank account or a Paypal account. This automatically has me truly believing it was a scam.

The website is very nice looking. Has an address, phone number, fax and email addresses. Talks about the company, has pictures and comments about the VIPs. It even has job postings!! I started researching all I could over the internet, but I could not find one thing about this being a scam. In fact, not much of anything came up. I tried the address. Its real and its in a commercial area with other businesses. I did not try the phone number because 1) this Bill guy has that as his contact number and 2) I did not want him to get my cell number. I tried even link he provided in the email and finally about after an hour or so, I got lucky. I found an area in the job description that talks about how the process works. You are sent the payments which you then deposit into your account. You then send the money by Western Union or Money Gram to them. Ding Ding Ding!! I hit the jackpot. In one last ditch effort to find anything on this company, I googled the fax number. I hit pay dirt!!! That fax number has been around the block quite a few times under different company names for several years now.

I have tagged this company as a fraudulent company with another blog site hoping it will help others. They never got any money out of me but that does not help the feeling of being used and scammed. I will do my part to make sure others end up fortunate like me and not lose out on thousands of dollars that these worthless excuses for humans get every day.

Scammers reinvent themselves. Today, these hard core career criminals have become affiliate marketers or just plain outright scammers

These affiliate scammers are posting bogus ads promising (nonexistent!) employment, paid research trials, or other compensation, but then notifying repliers that they’ll need to jump through a hoop first, directing job seekers to a host of deplorable tactics as listed below:

all in hopes of earning affiliate marketing commissions or otherwise profiting at the expense of persons seeking employment.

There are lots of variations on these scams, but each generally involves dangling (nonexistent!) compensation, easy lazy employment opportunity, sit at home and do nothing i.e. work at home and then directing you to a website where you are asked to sign up for something, use your credit card, or input personal information such as your email address, open a bank account, become a secret shopper, or an award winnings which targets the elderly, worse of all a program that promises you riches……

One need to exercise good judgment when they encounter one of these bogus job opportunity. These scammers are pros…. professionals with army of Attorneys and accomplices i.e. helpers. They do not operate alone. Getting involve or associated with these criminals is getting yourself into a whole lots of headaches. They prey on your weakness of being unemployed and desperate. They are out there in search of vulnerable individuals.

What we at scamFRAUDalert have observed over the years is that the less education one has, the more likely they will get involve with these CROOKS – scammers. BE VILIGANT FOLKS, CAREFUL ONLINE…….
