When you respond to the ad, you will be given a song and dance about how you should ignore any posted signs in the yard, how they fired an agent, how the owner is transferred to North Carolina for five years, etc. DON’T FALL FOR IT!! IT’S A SCAM!! Similar scams are being done throughout the Cleveland area. Some low life scumbags are finding properties that are either for rent or for sale throughout the Cleveland area. They CLAIM to be the owners when they are NOT and try to catch you by promising you low rent and hope that you will wire them money. Local police departments have been notified of these scams and some people have been victimized by them. DON’T BE A VICTIM YOURSELF!! If it sounds too good to be true, it is! I spoke directly with the neighbor of this property that is located at 4300 West 140th Street. The realty sign there IS legitimate and the TRUE owner of the house is SELLING IT- and NOT renting it!! Protect yourself from fraud and do NOT send money to the people running the bogus ad!!
