This so called company have done the same to me taken money from my account and left me a disabled man with a 2 year old son penniless all weekend taken money for what nothing I would like as many people as possible who have been taken for a fool to to please send me your details as I intend to bring a court case against this company to have them put out of business my e mail nickymoore123@live.co.uk would be gratefull for anybody who would like to pursue this matter further as I intend to sue for compensation
I have just discovered the same thing, same amount! I have looked up the company and can’t find them on companies register and they only have the complaints email on their site.
I work for a law firm so i have sent them a very strong email with checkable credentials with the police fraud squad(who I know very well!) and threatened with the financial ombudsman and media.
Do the same, if you want you can say to them that we are joining forces for a lawsuit, which could be possible as they seem to be
quite a well hidden outfit and that may be the only alternative. Companies like these rely on the ignorance and “desperation ” of people looking for loans. Unfortunately there are plenty of these scammers about who put a website pretending to be lenders not brokers then they debit a fee because you pressed accept loan agreement thinking it is directly with the company.
I believe in no uncertain terms that this is fraudulent misrepresentation.
In most cases the companies repay the monies but only after holding them in interest bearing accounts hence how they make profit. Its a scam!!
Smilefinance.co.uk took £26.34 and I didn’t even have this money so I have now been charged an overdraft fee of £25. I would like a full refund of the £26.34 they took and the £25 overdraft charge because it was their fault. I sent them email and can’t get in touch so far.
