   Scammer complaintsboard.com Scam website ..

   The first line is what it is, so that when people search, this page will come up, and other people can post here who want to make it known about the scam website complaintsboard.com

   I run a business. Recently there was a review posted on complaintsboard.com about my business – I believed it might be fake or possibly a competitor trying to a post bad review.

   We have no bad reviews so it was quite shocking to us, to have this .. so I contacted complaintsboard.com, and asked them to please give the order number of the person complaining, or the date and surname or any details which could verify the complaint as real — and we can go to the complainant,and solve the matter directly (if indeed there is/was one) -> I got a response from complaintsboard.com saying that an administrator would contact me shortly. 15 minutes later, an email arrived from a gmail address (seemingly anonymous), and it threatened, that if we didn’t shut up, and go away, there would be thousands of bad reviews posted online about our business – that they “would drown our business is thousands of bad and fake reviews it would kill us”.

   Not much a small business can do! .. we walked away from it, as we know they could probably do exactly that. So, we wish you good luck in taking them down!!!!

   Have studied complaintsboard.com, and you are correct, they are themselves a scam site run by petty extortionists who take advantage of international borders and flaws in US legislation. Along with their knowledge of effective Google SEO, they can create their own racketeering enterprise, which is then used as an aid to other nerdowells. The site should be permanently barred from the Internet.

   Until that happens however, there are things you can do to fight back. Think about this: Complaintsboard.com hides behind legislation which protects them ONLY if they are not content editors. Their terms of use state that anyone can complain about anything they want to, and that CC’s owners/operators will not interfere in any way.

   SO – lay out a little trap for them to violate the CDA. Simply go to their site and create a new complaint, of which complaintsboard.com is the target. So use their own site against them.

   To really make it effective, you should make the same complaint at several sites including ripoffreport.com plus the others (as many as you can) and then include a link to your complaint on complaintsboard.com

   When they delete the complaint then it can be legally argued that they change to an editor status, and thus a legal theory can be made that they lose their protection under the CDA. Frankly the FTC should have barred the site years ago. You and everyone you know should file similar complaints with the FTC.

   You should have as many of your friends as possible repeat the very same process. Ask them to ask their friends to do the same. Using this method you might be surprised at how quickly your links will rise to the top of google searches.

   If you can get this done, it should be effective at drawing attention to the true nature of what complaintsboard.com really is.

   Some of them THEN contact the owners of companies mentioned the complaints and begin blackmailing them into paying for REPUTATION REMOVAL saying that they CAN take DOWN ALL NEGATIVE REPORTS ONLINE ABOUT THEM and THEIR COMPANIES. The truth is they can not.

   But they don’t. And they can’t.

   So why should you care? At the very basic level, it may appear that consumer complaints should get as much exposure as possible. And we don’t disagree with that. But consumers choose Ripoff Report as their forum because we have a 14-year track record of protecting the consumer. We don’t take down posts for money, we don’t cower to bullies who threaten or file lawsuits and we do offer the Ripoff Report Arbitration program to address false statements and the Corporate Advocacy Program to help businesses improve their customer service.

   REMEMBER: Scaminformer.com, scamfraudripoff.com, and complaintsboard.com are NOT legit. They will not and cannot help you. They can only TAKE YOUR MONEY. On the other hand, if you’re just looking to help the Russian underground economy…

   FACT—Russian criminals are stealing reports from http://www.RipoffReport.com and then using them to extort money from victims in the United States.

   FACT—Ripoff Report has already won several lawsuits against these criminals, and more lawsuits are pending.

   FACT—Many of Ripoff Report’s competitors are involved in these scams.

   As one of the first and oldest consumer complaint sites, Ripoff Report has spent millions of dollars and more than a decade helping to empower consumers by giving them a highly-visible platform where they can share their stories with the world. Since 1998, our vision has always been the same—we want to help increase customer satisfaction by allowing business owners to see exactly what their customers are saying so that problems and complaints can be addressed quickly and fairly. In this way, our goal is to benefit both customers and business owners.

   Unfortunately, in the last several years we have discovered a very disturbing trend—many competing websites have been created which appear to be dedicated to the same goals as Ripoff Report, but when you look closer the story is very different…and very disturbing. Many of these sites are based overseas (many in Russia), and many are operated by shadowy figures with names that change from week to week. Many of these sites are actually little more than extortion factories.

   Their game works like this: 1.) they begin by stealing thousands of pages of reports and other original content from http://www.RipoffReport.com (they sometimes even copy our Terms of Service!); 2.) they extort money from business owner by demanding money to remove the reports. These sites don’t care anything about helping consumers; they only care about one thing—money.

   The worst violator is http://www.Scaminformer.com. This site was created in January 2011, and when it first went online, the site contained literally tens of thousands of pages of content illegally copied from http://www.RipoffReport.com. In fact, not only did the site steal massive amounts of content from us, they even removed our copyright ownership information (which is a violation of federal law) and they also backdated every posting by 24 hours in an attempt to make it look like the material was originally posted on their site.

   Ripoff Report immediately filed a federal lawsuit against http://www.Scaminformer.com. You can read a copy of our Original Complaint here.

   Because http://www.Scaminformer.com isn’t a legitimate site, they failed to appear in court and we were awarded a $100,000 judgment against them. Furthermore, the federal court issued an injunction requiring them to remove all of the material they had stolen, and to immediately stop copying material from http://www.RipoffReport.com.    Unfortunately, after the judgment and injunction was entered, rather than stopping its criminal conduct, http://www.Scaminformer.com did exactly what all scammers do—they simply transferred the site to a new owner—Eugene Selihov (also located in Russia) who now claims that he’s not stealing content from Ripoff Report and he has no idea how thousands and thousands of pages of new reports copied from http://www.RipoffReport.com have appeared on his website.

   Sadly, this is not the only instance of other websites stealing content from Ripoff Report. Another serious/repeat violator is http://www.ComplaintsBoard.com. We sued that site in 2008 for stealing huge amounts of material from the Ripoff Report. You can read our Original Complaint here.

   We determined that the owner of http://www.ComplaintsBoard.com was actually located in eastern Europe, but they didn’t bother to show up in court. As a result, we were awarded a $60,000 default judgment and permanent injunction. We were later awarded an even larger amount for legal fees and collection expenses.

   But once again, this didn’t stop the criminals from continuing to unlawfully copy material from our site; they simply transferred ownership to a new company so they could try to argue that our injunction doesn’t apply to them. As such, we recently filed another lawsuit against the new owner of http://www.ComplaintsBoard.com, and you can read a copy this new lawsuit here.

   Incredibly, these aren’t the only examples. In 2008 we also sued yet another so-called consumer reporting website—www.PissedConsumer.com—based on their copying of thousands of pages of content from the Ripoff Report website. The owners of PissedConsumer eventually realized that it was illegal to steal material from our website, so they agreed to the entry of a permanent injunction which required them to stop this practice.    So, what’s the point of all this? Simple—www.RipoffReport.com is not only one of the first and largest consumer complaint websites on the Internet, we are one of the few websites who are truly devoted to helping consumers while also assisting business owners who want to increase their sales by resolving customer complaints quickly and fairly.

   Unlike many of our competitors, we are not based in Russia. We are located in the United States, and as an American-based company, we respect and comply with all U.S. laws (you can’t say the same for our competitors). Most importantly—we don’t take reports down for money and we don’t steal content from other sites. Never have, never will.

   REMEMBER: Ripoff Report cares about one thing—helping consumers! Our competitors don’t care about that….they only care about TAKING MONEY from victims so they can HIDE REPORTS (reports which they probably stole from Ripoff Report in the first place). Keep that in mind next time you’re thinking about posting a complaint on any site other than http://www.RipoffReport.com.

    The complaints board website is a joke. They let people post anonymously without even a real name. This obviously makes it so any competitor of any company can post negative comments that appear to be legitimate when they are not. There is no responsibility or even a touch of effort to verify that any claim made here is true or false. This site will begin to be attacked by honest hard working companies that refuse to be slander by nameless, faceless people hiding behind their computers. COMPLAINTSBOARD.COM IS A SCAM! Don’t waste your time with anything said on this site, form your own opinion by asking someone with some credibility and actual knowledge of a company you are thinking of using. Unfair practices like this only cause honest companies to spend more money defending unfounded lies. DON’T USE COMPLAINTS BOARD. You might as well as a 4 year old, you’ll get better informed information.

    How Do I Set Up An Affiliate Marketing Campaign?

    Is Google Adwords Any Good? Need Experienced Advice From Experienced Adwords Users…?
    Hi, I came up with an idea for great online service and I would like to attract clients to my website by using Google AdWords (it’s a two-word term). The service is going to be really unique (not many people know how to do it and I haven’t found a single website of that content) so I don’t need to worry about competition (for the time being). Is Google any good for it? I don’t want to spend too much money on advertising (15 clients a month would be enough for now) but I heard a lot about click fraud (esp related to google), does it apply to my situation? Is Yahoo better? I need help and advice from people who advertise their SERVICES the same way and have some experience in this area (pros and cons, mistakes, traps, frauds etc). Please do not post any ads for your paid help documents or www’s, I know most of them are great but I need advice, not a product or service… Thank you my friends!

    Doesn’t have to be a lot. Maybe 50-75 bucks. And I don’t mean on Ebay or selling anything. I mean purely come online, sit down and make money.

    Complaint Rating:
    I am getting billed $ 57.21 each month by Grantsinsider aka Revwealth.com. I have called the company and have cancelled and received a cancellation number. However the charges just keep coming. The help center person said that to get a refund iI was supposed to go to grants.refund @gmail. So what happens next.
