Registry Patrol – The Post Media Network Registy Patrol software, They thanked me by email, then in a blink of an eye, they ripped off $39.95 from my Bank debit card by way of PayPal

I bought their software called Registry Patrol, along with a free Driver Patrol software. I paid #39.95 for the product with my bank debit card through PayPal which is how they received by money.
The product didn’t work, nor could I use the codes they emailed me. I tried to contact them, they only emailed me that they would get back to me in 24-48 hours, that was about 3 weeks ago.
Now I can not even find their website, nor will they contact me after all the emails I sent trying to solve this problem. They have vanished into thin air like the ghost and the ghouls of holloween past along with my money.
Actually most times there is no need to rebuild or reinstalled your PC windows system, what you need is Tuneup360. You just need to click one big “fix now” button and get your computer fixed at once.
To add to my last post, I bought RegistryPatrol on recommendation from “AskNerd.com” who provides advice and information on many computer issues. Does this mean AskNerd cannot be trusted also? Is RegistryPatrol a genuine programme or not?

Same problem for me. I paid for and downloaded registry patrol and it didn’t work. Many emails later, other than the automated response promising support within 12-24 hours, I have received nothing back from them. I don’t know what to do next. I also paid by credit card. Surely there must be some protection for people against this?

yep i too am a victim. i thought i was being smart going through websites to see if there was a problem with them unfortunately found this site to late. guess i got sucked in
I too have fallen prey to Registry Patrol. Purchased and have not received unlock code. Tried to email them twice since May 20 and have heard nothing yet. I guess the day of good customer service is out the window. God help them!!!
Hey paypal seems to be in cahoots with these turkeys.
It screwed my computer up in many ways and paypal was shown on my credit card and I didn’t even know I’d signed up for paypal.
I bought it cause I thought it was endorsed by PC magazine – at least I hope I’m lucky I did use credit card (I thought) and not my Debit.
another victim, made a claim with PayPal, hope to get my money back.
Am going to tell PayPal to quit working with them!
I, too, have gotten ripped off by them. May they rot in helllllllllllll.
The same thing has happened to me and i sent emails to them asking for an unlock code and it never occured. therefore i have aid for software that i cannot use. We are now facing trying to get our money back. We have read other people’s problems from this site and it would appear they are still getting away with this scam.
The same thing happened to me! Unfortunately before I saw this ALERT.
Did you ever get your money back? If so, how?
