ScamFraudAlert.com:
It is irrelevant if the information is in the public domain as you allege. The fact that you learned of the defamatory statements in the public domain makes them no less defamatory and does not offer safe harbor to allow you to post and publish the false, misleading, defamatory and injurious statements which are, without question, actionable in a court of law. As such, you will be liable for damages suffered by my clients. I suggest you retain an attorney to assist you with this matter as there is a fine line between free speech and defamation. My clients and I take this matter very seriously and they have asked that I proceed with a lawsuit if you do not comply with the request to remove all of the posts on or before June 4, 2008. As I previously mentioned, I highly recommend you retain an attorney to represent you in this matter as my client will seek the maximum amount of damages allowable by law.
Govern Yourself Accordingly.

YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS ONE!
Now that I posted, I got what I can only perceive as a veiled threat from Career Network’s lawyer.
I never replied to him, but here it is, for you to see. These people are crooks and have a lawyer trying to squash our free speech is sickening. Nowhere in here have we said anything but our own opinion and experiences and read up, because that’s PROTECTED SPEECH.
Leave us alone, Mr. Scum-Representing Lawyer. We are NOT afraid to tell the truth!

I just applied for a job with The Internet Company, and was describing the job to a friend who said she used to work for Three Star Media, which was doing the same thing, called employees independent contractors, and had them “working from home” but plugged into some internet site which acted as a dialer.. She worked 40 hours a week, got training from the company, and was in frequent contact with the supervisors, who basically told her that she was not submitting enough leads for them. She made 100 dollars a week (no doubt this is probably because they can’t afford to pay people minimum wage, knowing full well how the standard of obtaining even that much per hour by generating leads tends to be). I was told I would be cut a check after the first day of training, on the spot, and had to work in their building for a week before coming home to do the same job, using my home computer.
I have since applied at a multitude of other positions, one of which was for an administrative assistant position (which again does not exist- in fact the email you get will say administrative assistant, even if that is not the job you applied for- they probably use some kind of robot system that scans your resume for keywords) and they ask you to come in and do not even LOOK at your resume. All they do is basically try to sell you a job, and ask you if this would work for you. This seems like a scam to me, and my friend who used to work there described the building, and it sounds just like the building I went to for my own waste of time interview. Mr Attorney man- get yourself some legitimate clients, instead of backing known scam artists, whom I hear are owned by a convicted felon, to boot.
And PS- it is not libel or defamation to tell the truth publicly. Any damages done to your clients are caused by their own actions, not ours.
Three Stars Media represents themselves, both on their website and via job boards (Careerbuilder, etc) as a Marketing and Media company. They post jobs that do not exist such as “personal shopper, ” “advertising coordinator, ” “copywriter” only to lure people into an interview. After sitting through an hour long interview you learn that you will be contacting people via phone all day to sell them into furthering their education at an online school AND collecting information to sell off to other companies. This company is a huge scam and yet it has postings popping up all over national job boards, deceiving people into thinking they can be hired as an administrative assistant or an editor. Three Stars Media must be stopped from endangering the public and misleading job seekers. Local Orlando news channels have done stories on the pyramid scheme of this company.I am telling you honestly, from sitting through an “interview” at this “company” that things are not as they seem or as they are posted. These posted positions do not exist.
Look, three stars is a fraudulent scam company out only to get personal information in the largest fake employment scamming scheme. It is owned by convicted felon and master fraudster Ayman El Difrawi. The bulls-sh*t names of Simon, Alec and Micheal among others that he uses. Difrawi knows all about prison life after doing almost 4 years for bank fraud. So you Mr. Three Stars Director, tell me not to post more on here about Difrawri. Difrawi’s scam will soon come to a close. Keith Kress has put his license to practice law, by working for Difrawri in this criminal enterprise. He is acting in the capacity of company CEO, since Ayman will not put his name on anything, but hides behind Kress and his threats of defamation lawsuits that all get thrown out by the courts. Kress is as deep into this fraud scheme as Difrawi is.
