   MULTACOM CORPORATION REFUSE TO GIVE BACK OUR SERVERS, CREATE FANTASY BILLS

   We decide to use Multacom as our hosting company. We set up 6 servers there and started. After around 3 months, we received fantasy bills that were doubling the monthly fees on which we agreed. The explanation given by Multacom guy, Kia, was that we had picks of bandwidth consumption. We did not argue and pay for the additional invoice that had not been supported with proof of extra consumption to us.

   We then decided to move to another company that would be more professional and would not charge us in such manner. We sent a tech guy to get the servers we had at Multacom site. For a mysterious reason, he was not able to take the all of our equipment. It seems that Multacom representative refuse to let all the hardware go.

   We were so busy to do this move and serve our client very smoothly that we did not contact Multacom right away to get the rest of our hardware and software. Multacom sent us a bill that we still owed them $500. We agreed to pay such bill against the full restitution of both our hardware and software. We have left there 4 servers and 1 switch. Now Multacom wants more money and refuse to give us all of our hardware and software. They only agreed to give us back 2 out of the 4 servers and the switch.

   They are taking hostage our hardware and they even told us that they did not know if they had not sold one of our servers while they are using the rest for their own clients!

   This is purely a scam from Multacom in order to grab free software and hardware! Is the reason for such conduct that they cannot afford to buy such equipment?

   DO NOT EVEN THINK TO USE MULTACOM ARE YOUR HOSTING COMPANY, IT WILL END UP AS PROBLEM FOR YOU.

   We sent them a notice at the beginning of January 2009, which they did not have the courtesy to respond to. We send them a certified mail in February 2009 and will proceed with filing a lawsuit if they do not come to reason.

   If you have the same type of experience with this company, contact me as we can file a class action instead of a single suit. If you have a bad experience with them, please file claims with all the scam websites, the Better Business Bureau, and all other organization you know of. We cannot continue to have such company on the market.

   Back in 2001, I bought my domain and hosted with Primemaster Solutions. No problems with them. About a year later they were bought by Infinology. I experienced downtimes and poor tech support early on. I immediately switched from them. The only thing I do with them is the yearly domain renewal, a painless and straight forward process with no problems. Should there be?

   This past July I received my renewal notice for the August expiration. I submitted the online payment form as usual and did not observe any errors or complications.

   A day after the domain expiration I notice my site was down. Checking with my domain control panel I noticed my domain had expired and there were no pending requests.

   I immediately called Infinology during their tech support hours and after ringing for 5 minutes a voicemail answered. I left a message. I also emailed Sales, Billing, and Tech Support. I also re-submitted a renewal payment just in case the first was somehow lost.

   On the 2nd day after no responses, I spent the worse part of my workday calling Infinologies contact numbers. I was excited when finally someone answered the option 2 Tech support from the Phone Menu Tree. To my surprise he said First Rate Mortgage Company. He hung up after I said I was trying to get hold of Infinology.

   Tried a second time and got First Rate Mortgage again, this time he said enter extension 51 or 52 to get them. This is weird. Called back and entered extension 51. After 10 rings, Tatiana from tech support answers. We can barely communicate with the strong accent and poor connection. She said the charges are in the system and my domain should be active the next day. She emails me back to say only one charge mad by Billing.

   Then next day comes, domain still expired. I spend the next 2 days calling, emailing, faxing. Finally I get Katrina in Sales. She sounded just like Tatiana and stutters when I mention that to here. She says oh she’s in Tech support. Okay, so after battling for 5 minutes that they are the registrar of my domain who is responsible for submitting the renwal to the registries, She take my credit card and domain info. She says to call back in 2 hours to make sure Billing got it? She says that there is nothing in the system about any renewal attempts, even with Tatiana!! Whaaat!!

   I call back in 2 hours, she says billing got it and that it will take 72 hours for my domain renewal to appear. I tell her 24 hours and she doesn’t budge and hangs up. I can never get hold of her again.

   It’s 9 days past my domain expiration, still in registrar-hold status, and no charges to my credit card. No responses at all.

   I do believe they are under new ownership, probably ready to go under. I’ve already submitted complaints to the bureau, ICANN, and such. That won’t do much though.

   I’ll just keep pushing until they renew it. Only then can I transfer it to another registrar.

   Thinking back, my only mistake was to not transfer my domain to someone like godaddy.com. After researching they seem to have favorable reviews. Even registerfly.com has some dirt, registerflies.com. They’re even ICANN registered? Holy Carp!!(I know).

   So I have an online business, dead in the water. Phone’s blowing up because email is down because of DNS. All for a measly renewal which is pennies compared to money lost and not to mention all my site optimization work. Truly a f*cked situation.

   Apparently there is other recent carp too! Operating under different names.

   Most complainants allege they paid for resume or logo services and receive nothing in return. Some complainants allege poor quality work with logos, failure to update resumes and failure to keep promised delivery dates. A few complainants allege the company overcharges for services advertised on their website. Others allege the company fails to return phone calls and e-mails. A few report being offered a refund but failing to recieve it. The company responds to complaints by stating they made revisions of logos many times, refunded monies and stated they called the customer to follow up on services.

   I was wanting a Logo designed for my new start up. So I searched on google and came across the top 10 logo designers at themostpopularbrands.com/

   The site sounded and looked ok. I needed a logo quick and this company looked like they could help me at a reasonable rate. The site quality wasn’t as good as many of the other companies I looked at, but I went against my better judgement because of their promotion. I couldn’t believe I was getting $545.00 package for $165.00.

   I paid my $165.00 for this package. After I paid I received their order e-mail confirmation, that didn’t have a reference/ order # on it. It states the following Infinology Corp. Will appear on your credit card statement as they are the company which handles the credit card processing for Theous Corporation. If you have any questions with this order please call 863-223-2296.

   , shows my billing info. I didn’t think much of it so I went about my business until I received a second e-mail from this company of many names. It stated Thank you for ordering our LogoDesign service. Please download the attached microsoft word document and answer the questions accordingly. We need you to answers these questions before we can start Designing your Logo. If you have any quesitons please email the question to: [email address].

   The document was very basic and asked very general questions concerning my company. Again I thought nothing of this. Everything seems to be moving right along. A week goes by and I haven’t heard a thing from them. So I call and they say that they have my file and should start on it soon. They stated that there was a lot of business coming in from their special promotion and I should be patient.

   I wait a few more days and still no word from this company. I start getting suspicious and do a search on this company. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH I should have gone with my gut feeling on this. I was scammed and I knew it. There isn’t a lot out on the search but what is out there isn’t good concerning this company.

   I called the company again and the person I spoke with stated he could find any info on my order. He asked if I was sure I placed an order.

   I’m ticked off now and do a search again and find a site called Rip Off Report.com on this site I find a fellow consumer Gurvir that has been jacked around. I e-mailed him and he stated he was talking to a manager by the name of Albert. So I called the # he gave me and spoke with Albert. Albert told me he also couldn’t find any record of my purchase. I told him my card was charged by his company. His reply was to have me e-mail him with a reason as to why I want a refund. I sent the e-mail and waited. Nothing. I contacted Gurvir again and he said he has got Theous to refund our money but he has to retract his posting on Rip off Report. I call Theous again and speak to Albert. Albert says he will not refund my money until this other customer retracts his statement. I didn’t write the complaint nor do I know your other customer. PLEASE refund my money. Albert again states all I have to do is E-mail him a reason why I’m requesting a refund and they will give my money back. I send him 6 more e-mails stating why I want a refund. I have not received a refund or a phone nor an e-mail from this company.

   Every time I receive and email saying that a large company named ABC or 123 is expanding and looking for independent agents in different regions, automatically raised a question. Where is this scam coming from? The answer will almost always be, somewhere over seas. I had just received this email (posted below) stating that I will get $2300 a month + 8% commission for only 2-3 hours a days of work. There is no company that I know of that will pay that exuberant amount of money for that little time of work. Maybe if the product is a couple hundred thousand or more, they might.

   Also, whenever company ABC says that their working for 123, chances are it too is a scam. Here is the email sent to me below:

   I research these companies and people and found nothing except for scam fraudulent alert pops up. People, please protect not only yourselves but your family, loved ones and others that are looking for jobs. These checks that they send you can and will do damage to you. I was a victim once and that will never happen again. I research every email that I receive like that and so far 100% of them have been scams.

   There was actual one that had a phone number that I call and it was actually legitimate but I was not qualified and they didn’t have a job opening either. The email that I received was not from them but from someone portraying to be them.

   Please be careful in your ventures for work. Trust me, I know that it’s very tough out there; I’ve been searching for nearly 5 years now and still have not found a job. I have always been a finalist but I can not wait until the day that I become “The Finalist” or the one to receive the offer.

    What jobs does building a datacenter bring to a small community?
    E.g., Prineville (FB’s new datacenter). A datacenter doesn’t require many people to run it, so exactly how do new datacenters affect the jobs ecosystem when a company chooses to build one in a town?

    Nope, USColo is still a customer of UnitedLayer.
    USColo kept stalling and asking us for time to turn for them to turn
    them off. USColo is a large IP customer of ours, so we gave them some
    grace period.
    Management got tired of hearing about this issue, so we gave them a 24
    hour notice yesterday, and I executed it today.

    UnitedLayer has shutdown service for 209.237.253.0/24 to USColo.

    The IP block has been nullrouted.

    USColo was providing that IP block to Alyx Sachs and Albert Ahdoot
    (SBL16022).
    USColo is a colocation company in Los Angeles, where Alyx Sachs and
    Albert Ahdoot were(are?) customers. Alyx Sachs and Albert Ahdoot are,
    and have never been UnitedLayer Customers.

    We request that an adjustment be made to S875 so that no other
    unrelated parties are further harmed until they’re wiped off the IP
    space.

    Currently the listing is stated as:

    How long does it REALLY take to get a decent Page Rank?
    I had this question brimming in my mind that what factors can really count for your PR. I understand that getting one way links from high PR pages can play a major role.

    But, is it possible that you get a decent PR by investing in one way links? For example, I plan to buy 15-20 high PR links from PR4-PR8. Of course, I will have good content on the site as well.

    Would I be able to get a decent PR in a month’s period if I spend considerable time in SEO, and getting high PR links.

    Just a thought, I would like to see what others have to say on this topic?

    LOS ANGELES, July 26 /PRNewswire/ — Earthlink – One of the nation’s leading Internet Service Providers has dismissed charges against two defendants, represented by Paul Sigelman, who were alleged to be part of the Alabama Spammers.

    The lawsuit charged Alyx Sachs (a former television producer for Geraldo Rivera), Albert Ahdoot, and their company, Net Global Marketing, Inc., with violating federal and state Computer Systems and civil RICO laws, including the use of stolen credit cards, identity theft, and phony Internet accounts to send out over 250 million emails, to engage in a massive scheme of theft, spamming, and spoofing.

    As a result they were publicly reported in the most negative light by over 200 news organizations — naming them as some of the world’s most notorious spammers and thieves.

    On the basis of further investigation, Earthlink now believes they were victims of a massive and sophisticated campaign of identity theft and that they were, in fact, unaware of and had no role in spamming. In June 2005, the lawsuit against them was dismissed by Earthlink.

    “Sachs and Ahdoot are considered professionals in legitimate internet marketing and recognized leaders in web based advertising,” says their attorney, Paul Sigelman. “Their dismissal is a clean triumph of truth for legitimate Internet ad agencies.”

    Earthlink noted that after careful evaluation, it believes Alyx Sachs and Albert Ahdoot are by their own company policies diligent in enforcing maintenance of a spam-free Internet Ad business and prohibit the sending of unsolicited commercial email.

    Please respond to the group, not by e-mail.
    It would help if you told which ways The Better One would be different from GDB / DDD.

    GDB is a fine debugger and I am full of praise for all the people responsible. Truely amazing work. Unfortunately, it’s really the only debugger around for Linux (Totalview is OK, but has problems too). The main problem I (we) have with GDB is it doesn’t work well with C++, particularly namespaces. I hate to say it, but DDD, although good, is no match for something like MSDEV’s debugger – in fact, its a real drawback in trying to get the NT developer using Linux …
    What problems does gdb have with namespaces? It seems to work fine for me.
